Everybody in the NYC area, listen up!
Two good friends of mine, Dhira Rauch and Alyssa Ciccarello, are creating a performance called The Little Prinsinn. Please support this show with your attendance, by spreading the word, or, if at all possible, by donating money. Dhira recently sent out an email with information, which I have posted below. Though I have not seen this show or watched its rehearsals, I feel comfortable saying that this type of theatre experience is precisely what we need more of these days. How can I say that? I know Dhira, and if you knew Dhira you'd know what I was talking about...so...get to know Dhira and her work by supporting this show.
From Dhira:
Hello friends.
We are head over heels deep in the making of The Little Prinsinn, housed in the Brooklyn Lyceum from May 11th-21st,
a visual dream circus inspired by Saint-Exupéry's famous fable through the use of shadow puppetry, planet chandeliers, old projectors, stop animation, pop-up paintings, asteroid skirts, and an original musical score, all illuminated by a few beautiful clowns.
We're pulling magic out of hats but still the pennies are short and the time keeps a ticking.
So we're asking you to get involved, spread the word, wear the t-shirt.
How so?

Will!
Thank you.
I miss our conversations that unfold like mountain sunsets, but here's to our postal stamped sojourns that dialogue in slower time. Wish you were here.
Carrots,
Dhira
