I just finished year 4 of the graduate program here in the Twin Cities. During the year I leaped through several hoops to obtain ABD (All But Dissertation) status. I am now in the process of writing my dissertation: "What is Baroque Venetian Theatre? Dialectics of Excess and Discipline in the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries." I will be returning to Venice this summer to do some more research and will be posting stories from that experience like I did last summer.
Over the years many different people have tuned into this blog and I hope that continues. Pass the information on to anyone you know who is interested in theatre, philosophy, and critical thinking.
