Jeff Aldrich is the friend responsible for the creation of this blog.
That said,
I've just moved to Minneapolis (about two weeks ago) from New York City. I spent seven years in the lunatic asylum known as New York, and they were all fruitful years. I moved there to study acting at NYU, which is the school from which I received my BFA in acting. Maybe it's a profound happenstance, but moving to Minneapolis was also precipitated by the commencement of schooling. Here I will attain my PhD in theatre (yes, it's possible) and probably spend the most productive intellectual years of my life.
What can you look forward to if you're reading this blog and wondering what you can look forward to? Good question. I'll make a list:
1.) Most of my friends are completely brilliant and have great ideas daily. Truthfully. I don't know who you are or who you hang out with, but I can safely say that I have had the privelage of knowing some ridiculously talented and intelligent individuals. I still know them, actually. I'll make their ideas available every time they are made available from me, unless my paranoia prevents me from sharing their ideas with you.
2.) I'm here in Minneapolis to get my PhD. This should mean, though it does not guarentee, that I will be writing a lot about the current state of Theatre and the arts. If you're interested in those things, maybe you'll enjoy this blog.
3.) To add a level of intrigue to this blog I've decided to start a list that we'll call "Where the hell are you?" It is a list of people I have known that have disappeared and that I would like to get back in touch with. Here is the list so far:
- Geoff Gray-Lobe
- Delton Murphy
- David DelaVerne
- Billy Carol
- Scott Lemon
- Randy White
- Deanna Martin
- Alyssa Perry
- Paleka Pinard
(Forgive mispellings, please)
That list is comprised of ex-girlfriends, people I went to elementary school with and haven't heard from in over 15 years, and random friends who don't keep in touch.
Perhaps this list will grow with time. For now, let's just get started.

Hi Will,
I had a dream about you last night, which inspired me to google search for you... And, here I found myself reading every word of your blog, intrigued by how smart, thoughtful, and intense you are. Then, I stumbled across this list of people you want to get in touch with and found my name on it. Do you still want to get back in touch? delovelyd@speakeasy.net
